RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Observes and records workers operating equipment or performing tasks to determine time involved and fatigue rate
- Recommends revision of methods of operation or material handling, alterations in equipment layout, or other changes to increase production or improve standards
- Assist Production Department in initial production start up
- Assist in the design and procurement of assembly fixtures, both on the automatic line and hand assembly
- Develop tooling and fixturing to improve assembly lines
- Strives for continuous improvement in performing job duties and responsibilities
- Supports the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering group with quoting, tooling procurement, and assembly design
- Verifies and approves Flora documentation into PDM
- Verifies and approves production routings for SAP
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Skills and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering
- 3 – 5 years experience with quoting manufacturing processes
- Background in Electronics Manufacturing preferred
- Must have good language skills, mathematical skills and reasoning ability
- Must be able to work in a team environment
