Contact Information:
List both a permanent and college address and include the following information (address, Ph#, email, effective date)
Objective:
State what you are applying for and when you are available, i.e. Co-op opportunity Summer and Fall(May-Dec), 2008.
Summary:
Statements written in a bulleted format that reflect quantifiable performance. Statements should state your actions and the result of those actions. (This is your chance to impress the person reviewing your resume and entice them to read on)
Education:
List most recent education at the top and include an entry for all post-secondary education. For each entry list, the name and location of the school, the degree title, date or expected date of completion, major and/or minor, emphasis or specialization, grade point average.
Relevant Coursework:
Courses that are or will be completed before the Co-op/Intern start date, reflecting the student's area of interest and/or the employer's needs.
Experience:
List all work experience. Include job title, organization, major responsibilities and dates, relevant class projects, etc.
Skills:
Include skills related to your field, such as computer/technical, foreign languages, written, verbal, hands-on, related hobbies, etc.
Certification/Licenses:
List all applicable certification and license.
Memberships:
List organizations of which you are a member and indicate offices held and/or involvement in committees/projects.
Honors/Awards:
List designations received based on performance and/or that were competitive in nature.
Activities:
Note community, school and volunteer commitments. Describe how you spend your free time and selected interests and special talents.
