ECE 554 Spread Spectrum Communication
Concepts of spread spectrum systems, frequency hopping and
direct sequence systems. Anti-jamming performance analysis, synchronization
schemes, and systems with forward error correction.
Credit Hours: 3 Lecture

System", Prentice Hall, NJ, 1995.
Goals:
To provide electrical and computer engineering majors with the ability to analyze spread spectrum modulation and demodulation procedures.
-
To familiarize the students with the design of synchronization and detection circuits for spread spectrum communication.
-
To provide an understanding of pseudo random shift register sequences.
Projects:
Paper presentation by students.
