Analysis, design and CAD of antennas. Numerical methods. Broadband, traveling-wave, frequency independent, electrically-small, aperture and microstrip antenna types.

Goals:

To provide electrical and computer engineering graduates with the ability to analyze and design antennas.
To familiarize the students with the design of broadband antennas, traveling-wave antennas, frequency independent antennas, and electrically small antennas.
Introduction to numerical techniques in electromagnetics.

Antenna contest for best TV reception.
