Full-color image processing, image noise and degradation models, image restoration, inverse filtering, Wiener filtering, geometric transformations, image compression models, error-free compression, lossy compression, compression standards, dilation and erosion, opening and closing operations, morphological filtering, boundary descriptors, regional descriptors, principal components, vision-based pattern recognition.
