Compiler-Driven Parallelization for Multi-core Computing
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded a $100,000 grant to Dr. Wei Zhang to support
his research in studying a heterogeneous multi-core architecture and its compiler support for automatically improving
the performance of single-threaded programs. The success of this project is likely to ease and accelerate the transition
to multi-core processor-based systems.
