ECE NewsShawn Muir Receives IEEE Outstanding Student Member Award
ECE student Shawn Muir was awarded “IEEE Region 5 Outstanding Student Member 2006” during the IEEE Region 5 Technical and Professional Conference in Fayetteville, Arkansas April 22, 2007 for his leadership activities in the SIUC Student Branch of the IEEE and in the IEEE St. Louis Section. Notably, he was chair of the SIUC branch in 2006 while the branch hosted two engineering conferences and one sectional circuit competition. Also, he initiated semi-weekly technical meetings within the branch.. |
