Module 3: Required Foundation Courses
The Table below includes the
twelve courses designated by the Department as the foundation for Electrical
and Computer Engineering. Nine of these
courses (for a total of thirty-three hours) are offered by the ECE
Department. The other three courses (for a total of nine hours) are offered
by the Computer Science Department.

With reference to the Table,
the content of Module 3 for the different programs and degree options is as
follows:

For the Electrical Engineering program, nine courses
(eight ECE and one CS), for a total of thirty-two hours.
·
For the Computer Engineering program, ten courses
(seven ECE and three CS), for a total of 34 hours.
·
For the Electrical Engineering with Specialization in
Computer Engineering program, eleven courses (nine ECE and two CS), for a
total of thirty-nine hours.
·
For the Dual Major in Electrical and in Computer
Engineering, consists of all twelve courses, for a total of forty-two hours.
