Welcome to the Illinois Epsilon Chapter of Tau Beta Pi

Tau Beta Pi is the oldest national engineering honor society in the country, and one of the most nationally recognized societies. TBP stresses scholarship, personal character, and services to the profession, community, and college. Every semester, we invite the top fifth of seniors and the top eighth of juniors from all engineering majors to join.  Check out Who We Are to learn more.

Engineering Caffeine T-shirt

The Caffeine T-shirt was developed by TBP members as a fundraiser to support activities such as: The Bicycle Project, Breakfasts at Good Sam, Campus Lake Cleanup and participation in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.  Click on the link above to see where they're being sold.

National Convention

This year we sent two members, Matt Kelsey and Kelly Harman, and our advisor, Dr. DeVantier, to represent Illinois Epsilon in Orlando, Florida.  Some highlights and pictures from this year's convention can be found here.

The Bulletin of Tau Beta Pi

Check out the latest issue of The Bulletin.  Published three time annually, The Bulletin is used to disseminate news and information about Tau Beta Pi of special interest to the collegiate chapters.  Past issues can accessed here.

TBP - The Bicycle Project

The Illinois Epsilon Chapter has undertaken this national project to serve as a pilot program in our district.  Our chapter will collect donated bicycles from the community, refurbish them, and partner with local charities to distribute the bikes to area children or homeless citizens.
