ScholarshipThe scholarship program was established in 1941. A scholarship was awarded annually to deserving freshman, sophomore, junior and seniors in mining engineering. Scholarships awarded by the Institute during more than 50 years amount to about $158,000, which in current dollars, is equivalent to about $330,000.
