Southern Illinois University at the Little Rock Air Force Base is located on highway 67/167 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. The base is approximately 5 miles north from North Little Rock city limits.

There are several national hotel/motel facilities outside the front gate for students or instructors driving in for classes. Also, there are adequate restaurants within a two mile area of the front gate.
