FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Assistantships and fellowships with stipends of up to $15,000 per year and tuition scholarships are awarded to qualified students on a competitive basis.

Minority students may also apply for fellowships through the Illinois Minority Graduate Incentive Program (IMGIP) as well as the Illinois Consortium for Educational Opportunity Program (ICEOP). The stipends for IMGIP are $16,000/year for up to three years and $1,500 book allowance/year. Doctoral students in ICEOP may receive $12,500/year for up to four years, to a maximum of $50,000.
