Transfer Student Scholarships
1. Blaudow / ATS Technical Leadership Program in Manufacturing
The Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) College of Engineering has partnered with Advanced Technology Services to offer the Blaudow/ATS Program in Technical Leadership in Manufacturing, a program designed to educate the next generation of technical leaders for America’s industrial future. Each student that transfers to the SIUC College of Engineering and who is selected for the program will receive a:
- Scholarship deadline is February 1, 2009
- $14,000 scholarship towards tuition and fees ($8,000 during the first 2 semesters and $6,000 for remaining semesters)
- (2) three-month paid-internships
- Leadership training course

2. College of Engineering Scholarships for Transfer Students
Students who have completed 26 or more hours of coursework at a 2-year or 4-year college with a 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average are encouraged to apply. The award is valued at $1000 ($500 per semester for two consecutive semesters). Awarding begins after February 1. Scholarship selection is competitive and determined by academic by academic performance, coursework completed, and other achievements. To be considered for one of the scholarships fill out the application and send it to the College of Engineering.

3. SIUC Scholarship for Transfer Students
SIUC offers two scholarships to transfer studens:
- SIUC Academic Scholarship: $1,000
- Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship: $500
No additional application is required to apply for these scholarships. Students will be automatically considered for these awards when admitted to SIUC. For more information on SIUC transfer student scholarship goto SIUC Academic Scholarships
4. SIUC Illinois Community College Scholarship
Each Illinois Community College is given the opportunity to recognize two outstanding students from their instituition. The scholarships provide a minimum $1,000 award for each year for a total of two years.
