25 Most Distinguished Senior Award
Awarded to senior students graduating in the spring, summer or fall of the year they are making application and have a 3.0 overall grade point average.

Aisin Scholarship
The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship for an Industrial Technology or Mechanical Engineering major and willing to do an internship at AISIN. Overall GPA, professional goals, interest in a career in auto parts manufacturing, financial need, and desire to live and work in southern Illinois considered in selection.

Albert and Leyla Somit University Honors Scholarship
Continuing University Honors Students (those who have completed one semester, or a portion thereof, in the Honors Program at SIUC) are entitled to apply for the Albert and Leyla Somit University Honors Scholarship.

Alongi Legacy Scholarship
The scholarship is sponsored by the family of John R. Alongi for graduating seniors and students in Perry County as well as employees of Alongi's.

Amstutz Memorial Scholarships - $500
Eligible students must be enrolled in an ABET accredited engineering program, be at least a junior maintaining a 3.0 average or better, and demonstrate financial need. After the Amstutz Award is determined, the remaining candidates are considered for the Advantage Award.

Baker Family PCHS Scholarship
Funded by an annual contribution from Nancy Baker Vallino, this scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving high school senior who will be attending Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) upon graduation from high school. Scholarships may be awarded to a graduating senior from Pinckneyville Community High School in Perry County (PCHS) based on scholarship and need. Scholarships may not be awarded at times when there are no qualified candidates.

Betty Mitchell Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to a student who is a member of a National Panhellenic Council, a National Interfraternity Council, or a National Pan-Hellenic Council organization.

Blaudow/ATS Technical Leadership Program in Manufacturing
Awarded to community-college transfer students having U.S. citizenship and who have completed at least 48 hours applicable to a degree from the SIUC College of Engineering. Includes paid internship.

Connie and Charles Church Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to an incoming student from Carterville High School who has been involved in extra-curricular activities or community service.

Chancellor's Scholarship
Awarded to incoming freshmen who have a 29 ACT (1300 SAT) and class rank of 90th percentile. Award consists of In-state tuition and fees for four years.

Awarded to an incoming freshman who lives and attends a high school in the 600-606 zip code area, and has an immediate family member who is a graduate of SIUC.

College of Engineering Freshman Scholarships
Awarded to new freshmen students entering any of the Engineering undergraduate degree programs. This is a competitive award requiring a high school ranking greater than or equal to 75%, an ACT composite and math score at or above 25, or an SAT score greater than or equal to 1130.

Awarded to students entering any of the Engineering undergraduate degree programs. Preference given to transfer students earning an A.A, A.S., A.A.S., or A.F.S. degree with a cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.00.

David Eddingfield Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to an outstanding junior or senior female student in Engineering with the highest GPA. The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student in the College of Engineering and Technology at the time of presentation of the award

Dean's Scholarship
Awarded to incoming freshmen who have a 26 ACT (1180 SAT) and class rank of 80th percentile. Award consists of $3,000/year for the first and second years.

Elizabeth Lewis Memorial Scholarship
Must be a graduate of an accredited Jackson County high school. At least one scholarship may be awarded to a current SIUC student with junior standing for semester scholarship is awarded, or a transfer student from John A. Logan College based on criteria and need.

Highway District #9 Scholarship
Recipients must be a sophomore, junior, or senior and a native of Highway District #9 (Alexander, Gallatin, Franklin, Hardin, Jackson, Johnson, Massac, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, Saline, Union, or Williamson). The committee considerations include overall academic grade point average, financial need, and effort toward providing for own education.

McNair Scholars Program
Awarded to a sophomore or junior student who has a desire to attain a Ph.D. (Medical (MD) or other professional degree are not eligible for the program.) Applicant must be a low-income student who is also a first-generation college student; or be a member of a group that is underrepresented in graduate education (African American, American Indian/Alaskan Native, or Hispanic/Latino). Student must be a US citizen or permanent resident.

Service to Southern
Awarded to an outstanding graduating senior for participation and service contributions to SIUC. This is the highest honor awarded to a student leader at our campus. Applicant must have a 2.75 or higher cumulative GPA, and have involvement in co-curricular/volunteer activities. The recipient must also have participation in residence hall, registered student organization, campus and/or community service projects and activities.
