Dr. Garth V. Crosby received his BS degree in Electronics from the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica. He obtained his MS and PhD degrees from Florida International University in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering, respectively. Dr. Crosby joined SIUC in the Spring of 2008. 

Dr. Crosby’s primary interests of research are wireless communication, wireless networks, ad hoc networks, wireless sensor networks, network security, and trust modeling. He has served as a reviewer for several conferences, magazines and journals publications, including IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE Communications Magazine and the International Journal of Network Security (IJNS). He is a member of IEEE Computer and Communication Societies, the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), and Eta Kappa Nu.
