Course
description:

This course covers fundamental circuit techniques and design issues for mixed-signal VLSI. The main focuses of this class are data converters and filter circuits, which interface analog and digital components of mixed-signal systems. Students who take this class are expected to have a background of analog VLSI design and CMOS fabrication process. Class projects will be given and account for a significant portion of the final grade. Cadence Spectre and Verilog-XL will be the main CAD tools used in the class.
